The alarming skylight called for to be either resealed or removed because water had been penetrating into it for years and the property owner just wanted it deconstructed and covered over with new ‘torch down’ roofing products. After our technicians extricated the skylight, our experts then rolled out some really good, new roofing products and started up the torch and built the new roofing harmlessly to the existing roof. While at the property site, the customer that there was also a highly rotted out steel furnace chimney cap that required to be fixed and a new chimney cap put on. So, in the end, our company had a team of five guys who arrived early on a Saturday (around 8:30) then worked all day – through the extreme July heat – mostly on a 130 degree roof – in the hot sun – until about three o’clock and finished eight separate services for the property owner.
