The alarming skylight needed to be either resealed or removed because water had been penetrating into it for years and the property owner just wanted it removed and covered over with new ‘torch down’ roofing materials. After our experts extricated the skylight, our experts then rolled out some affordable, new roofing materials and started up the torch and laid down the new roofing carefully to the old roof. Last, we quickly put new stair tread down on their battered staircase.
Steel Chimney Caps Installed And Crowns
While at the home site, the customer pointed out that there was also a severely corroded out old furnace chimney cap that demanded to be fixed and a new chimney cap installed. One of our guys reached for the ladder and travelled all the way up top and took down the rusted chimney cap and replaced it with a brand new stainless steel chimney cap.
Home Dutch And Vinyl Siding Fixes
During a recent severe storm, the homeowner’s deck umbrella had moved up high in the air and then slammed down against the homeowners brand new Dutch lap vinyl siding our customers had replaced just last year. The crash tore an eye-level slit directly into the client’s normally durable new siding. The homeowner was unhappy with the noticeable hole in the brand-new siding – to say the least. So, while our pros were there our experts were able to gather replacement pieces to fix the vinyl siding‘s damaged place. Our guys were also able to adjust some additional pieces that had also become freed up.
The customer later put in a personal request for one of our roofers to fasten a flag pole out front – on the house itself – through the new vinyl siding – but without damaging the vinyl siding. One of our guys was able to remove a single piece of the house’s exterior front siding and slide a small wooden brace behind the siding to provide the flag pole something strong to screw itself into.

So, in the end, we had a team of 5 techs who arrived early on a Saturday (around 8:30) then worked all day – through the extreme July heat – mostly on a 130 degree roof – in the hot sun – until about 3 o’clock and finished 8 separate efforts for the clients.
