After our craftsmen removed the skylight, our pros then rolled out some really good, new roofing products and started up the torch and installed the new roofing cautiously to the present roof. Last, we quickly put new stair tread down on their battered staircase.

While at the job site, the client mentioned that there was also a very rusted out steel furnace chimney cap that needed to be removed and a new chimney cap engineered. One of our roofing contractors took out the ladder and travelled all the way up top and took down the old chimney cap and swapped it with a brand new stainless steel chimney cap.

During a recent inclement storm, the property owner’s deck umbrella had freed up up high in the air and then slammed into against the homeowners brand new Dutch lap vinyl siding they had installed just last year. So, while our roofers were there our pros were able to find replacement pieces to fix the vinyl siding‘s pierced place. We were also able to fix some additional pieces that had also become uplifted.
The client soon put in a personal request for one of our pros to install a flag pole out front – on the house itself – through the new vinyl siding – but without damaging the vinyl siding. 1 of our pros was able to remove a lone slat of the house’s exterior front siding and slide a thin wooden brace behind the siding to provide the flag pole something tough to screw itself into.

So, in the end, Expressway Roofing had a team of five techs who arrived early on a Saturday (around 8:30) then worked all day – through the extreme July heat – mostly on a 130 degree roof – in the hot sun – until about three o’clock and finished eight separate work for the clients. Our guys then cleaned up all the debris, blew out all of the dust and vacuumed the areas our pros worked in and called it a day.
