The worrisome skylight called for to be either resealed or replaced because water had been destroying into it for years and the customer just wanted it removed and covered over with new ‘torch down’ roofing materials. After our pros deconstructed the skylight, our pros then rolled out some great, new roofing materials and lit the torch and laid down the new roofing cautiously to the existing roof. While at the residence site, the property owner that there was also a highly rusted out old furnace chimney cap that needed to be replaced and a new chimney cap put on. One of our technicians found the ladder and climbed all the way up top and removed the rotted chimney cap and swapped it with a brand new stainless steel chimney cap.
Home Dutch And Vinyl Siding Installations
During a recent crazy storm, the client’s deck umbrella had displaced up high in the air and then slammed violently against the homeowners brand new Dutch lap vinyl siding our clients had replaced just last year. The impact tore an eye-level gap directly into the customer’s usually durable new siding. The homeowner was not happy with the large hole in her brand-new siding – to say the least. So, while we were there our craftsmen were able to gather replacement pieces to fix the vinyl siding‘s damaged spot. Our technicians were also able to fix a few other pieces that had also become came loose.
The customer later put in a personal request for 1 of our craftsmen to connect a flag pole out front – on the house itself – through the new vinyl siding – but without damaging the vinyl siding. One of our pros was able to remove a single slat of the house’s exterior front siding and slide a square wooden brace behind the siding to provide the flag pole something firm to screw itself into.
