The worrisome skylight required to be either fixed or replaced because water had been leaking into it for years and the customer just wanted it extricated and covered over with new ‘torch down’ roofing products. After we removed the skylight, our technicians then rolled out some really good, new roofing products and started up the torch and engineered the new roofing readily to the present roof. Last, we quickly put new stair tread down on their battered staircase.
Steel Chimney Caps Fixed And Crowns
While at the job site, the customer that there was also a pretty rotted out steel furnace chimney cap that required to be replaced and a new chimney cap put on. One of our technicians got the ladder and travelled all the way up top and removed the corroded chimney cap and replaced it with a brand new stainless steel chimney cap.
Home Dutch And Vinyl Siding Replacements
During a recent harsh storm, the customer’s deck umbrella had freed up up high in the air and then slammed down against the homeowners brand new Dutch lap vinyl siding our customers had replaced just last year. The impact tore an eye-level slit directly into the customer’s often durable new siding. The property owner was unhappy with the noticeable hole in her brand-new siding – to say the least. So, while our pros were there our technicians were able to find replacement pieces to fix the vinyl siding‘s problematic spot. We were also able to fix some other pieces that had also become uplifted.
The property owner then put in a personal request for one of our roofers to connect a flag pole out front – on the house itself – through the new vinyl siding – but without destroying the vinyl siding. One of our technicians was able to remove a single slat of the house’s exterior front siding and slide a thin wooden brace behind the siding to provide the flag pole something strong to secure itself into.

So, in the end, our company had a crew of 5 guys who arrived early on a Saturday (around 8:30) then worked all day – through the extreme July heat – mostly on a 130 degree roof – in the hot sun – until about 3 o’clock and finished 8 separate tasks for the customer. Our guys also cleaned up all the garbage, blew out all of the dust and vacuumed the sections our craftsmen worked in and called it a day.
